Accessed by clicking a diagnosis link, the diagnosis page includes diagnosis images, patient case examples, diagnosis information, and a variety of other helpful information to help you make the correct diagnosis quickly. You will see tabs in the upper left portion of the page. The “Diagnosis” tab contains all diagnosis information, including the selected image gallery displaying the expert-selected images for the diagnosis. The text relevant to the diagnosis is located on the left, with a large image and gallery on the right.
Access the patient cases by clicking on the "Patient Case" tab to the right of the "Diagnosis" tab. This area contains examples of actual patient cases relevant to the diagnosis. Select a case from the galleries on the left. An enlarged image with captions and selectable thumbnails will be displayed on the right.
Any enlarged images within the diagnosis will be displayed here. By default, the Select Image Gallery displays the selected image. The large format image is on the top portion of the screen, while thumbnail gallery of your selected image gallery are located underneath.
Selecting an Image:
Clicking on the thumbnail image will change the large-format image and associated caption
Mouse over the large-format image and use your scroll wheel to navigate through the your selected image gallery
A gold border indicates the thumbnail gallery indicates the selected image
Selected Image Gallery
By default, the Selected Image Gallery displays images demonstrating key diagnostic features. These images come from multiple patients.
Collapse/Expand Text Headers
Click on the Expand/Collapse All to collapse all text headers for the Diagnosis
Click on Expand/Collapse All again to expand all of the diagnosis category headers
Click on an individual category to either expand or collapse just that category
View Differential Diagnosis Information
Click on any Differential Diagnosis title to be taken to the corresponding diagnosis page. These links are located within the Key Facts and Differential Diagnosis categories.
