Ronald DeLellis, MD has joined Amirsys as Co-Lead Author of Endocrine Pathology

Ronald DeLellis, MD has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as Co-Lead Author of Endocrine Pathology. Dr. DeLellis received his MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his residency training in pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and National Cancer Institute. His subspecialty is in the area of endocrine pathology. Dr. DeLellis is Pathologist-in-Chief of the Lifespan Academic Medical Center, which encompasses Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital; Director of the Molecular Pathology Core for the COBRE Center for Cancer Research Development; and Professor of Pathology and Associate Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Brown University School of Medicine. He is formerly Vice Chairman and Director of Anatomic Pathology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Professor of Pathology at Cornell University Medical College. Dr. DeLellis authored the AFIP fascicle on parathyroid and co-authored the fascicles on the thyroid and adrenal glands. He also edited the recent WHO Classification of Endocrine Tumors
