Robert Colvin, MD has joined Amirsys as Lead Author of Kidney Pathology.

Robert B. Colvin, MD has joined the growing team of leading pathology experts as the Lead Author for our Amirsys Kidney Pathology Team. Dr. Colvin received his MD at Harvard Medical School and did his internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Colvin is the Benjamin Castleman Distinguished Professor of Pathology and the Chief of Pathology, emeritus, at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Colvin is an authority on renal diseases, as well as flow cytometry and has a major interest in immunological mechanisms of disease. Over the last 30 years, research from Dr. Colvin’s group has led to new strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat renal allograft rejection.
