Vânia Nosé, MD, PhD has joined Amirsys as Lead Author of Endocrine Pathology

Vânia Nosé, MD, PhD has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Lead Author for the Amirsys Endocrine Pathology Team. VÂnia Nosé, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Pathology, Harvard Medical School; Associate Director of Surgical Pathology; and Chief of Endocrine Pathology Service, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. Dr. Nosé received her MD at the University of Campinas Medical School, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and her PhD at Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Nosé has written over 100 articles in medical journals and over 15 book chapters related to Endocrine Pathology. Presently, Dr. Nosé is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Endocrine Pathology Society, a Companion Society of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). This position will transition to President in two years. She is also an active member of the International Pituitary Pathology Club, and is in the Editorial Board of Endocrine Pathology Journal. Dr. Nosé has made numerous contributions to pathology as a surgical pathologist, as an investigator, educator, and mentor.
