César Moran, MD has joined Amirsys as Co-Lead Author of Thoracic Pathology.

César Moran, MD has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Co-Lead Author for the Amirsys Thoracic Pathology Team. Dr. Moran trained in pathology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center of New York, followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology at Yale University School of Medicine. He spent the first 10 years of his career at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C., where he was Associate Chairman of the Division of Pulmonary and Mediastinal Pathology. Dr. Moran is currently Professor of Pathology, Director of Thoracic Pathology, and Deputy Chairman at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Dr. Moran serves on several editorial boards in pathology journals and is the co-Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Diagnostic Pathology. Dr. Moran is a world-recognized authority on pulmonary and mediastinal neoplasms.
