Cyril Fisher MD, DSc, FRCPath has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Lead Author for the Amirsys Soft Tissue Pathology Team.

Cyril Fisher, MD has joined the Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Lead Author for the Amirsys Soft Tissue Pathology Team. Dr. Fisher graduated in medicine from Oxford University, trained in pathology at University College Hospital Medical School, London, UK, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.  Dr. Fisher has held academic appointments in the UK and USA, and is currently Professor of Tumor Pathology at the Institute of Cancer Research of the University of London, and Consultant Histopathologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.  Dr. Fisher's special interest is in the pathology and diagnosis of soft tissue tumors, and he is a former President of the International Society of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology.  Dr. Fisher lectures widely and has authored or co-authored over 350 publications.
