Amirsys Adds Cutting-Edge Digital Scanning Technology to Enhance Workflow

Amirsys added a cutting-edge technology digital scanning system for glass slides to significantly enhance its workflow. The system allows the Amirsys pathology team to automatically capture up to 120 slides per batch at up to 40x magnification. These very high quality HIPAA-compliant images then can be shared by Amirsys with its team of expert pathologists via the Internet. Amirsys pathologists can then pan, zoom, crop, annotate and adjust brightness and contrast with speed and at a quality level that surpass even the best microscope systems.
