Dina Mody, MD to Lead Diagnostic Pathology Cytopathology Team

Dina R. Mody, MD has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Lead Author for the Amirsys Cytopathology Team. Dr. Mody is medical director of the Cytopathology Laboratory at The Methodist Hospital and Director of the Cytopathology Fellowship at The Methodist Hospital with the rank of Professor of Pathology and Lab Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr Mody has been elected as the Vice president of American Society of Cytopathology. Dr. Mody is the President-Elect of the American Society of Cytopathology and will be the President in 2008. Dr. Mody is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Cytopathology. She has been the chair of the Cytopathology resource committee of College of American Pathologists (CAP) from 2002-2005 and has received the Lansky award of the CAP for her leadership in Cytopathology. She has been a member of the executive board of American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) and in 1999 she received the President's Award of the ASC. She has served as Chair of the Anatomic Path cluster of the CAP and has served on the Council on Scientific Affairs of CAP.
