Salt Lake City, UT- November 27, 2005-- AMIRSYS® announced today that it has achieved the integration of STATdx with Sectra PACS to provide diagnostic clinical decision support to radiologists and other physicians at the point-of-care. This integration now enables a PACS user to automatically obtain diagnostic clinical decision support information while at the PACS workstation. The integration automatically detects the anatomical region of the study and launches STATdx to the appropriate anatomical region for quick reference to confirm difficult diagnoses. More than 750 installations around the world use Sectra PACS.

“With this technological breakthrough a Sectra PACS user now has all of the resources of STATdx with a click of the PACS mouse,” said David Avrin, MD, PhD, Senior Vice President of Amirsys. “Seamless communication between STATdx and PACS auto-launches STATdx to the exact anatomical area as specified in the imaging protocol.”

"A single imaging platform with one click access to necessary diagnostic tools provides an optimized workflow", says Staffan Bergström, VP marketing at Sectra. "With Sectra Clinical Solutions Network, our partner integration program, we provide an excellent framework for bringing clinical applications such as STATdx to the PACS desktop"
